DESCRIPTION:SBSPCR conducted a series of Extension lectures of Prof. Pradeep Gokhale\, Ex-Professor of Philosophy\, Department of Philosophy\, Savitribai Phule Pune University\, India as a part of a Course named ‘The Philosophical Tenets of Buddhism: Mādhyamika Traditions’ offered to the 4th Semester students of M.A. in Buddhist Studies\, Philosophy & Comparative Religions. These lectures were conducted online\, and Professor Gokhale delivered them on March 14th and 15th\, 2023. The lectures were based on the topic of ‘Four-Fold Negation as deliberated by the Buddhist Philosopher Nāgārjuna in his text Mūlamādhyamikakārikā’. 4th-semester students and faculty members of SBSPCR physically attended the lectures. Some research scholars from the university also joined the lecture.
