School of Management Studies hosted a session entitled Integration of Sustainability in Management Education at India and Sustainability Standards Summit, India Habitat Center, New Delhi November 6-8, 2023.

This conference is held annually and it attracts international participants from across the world. In fact this year more than 60 international and national organizations have extended support to this esteemed conference. During the session, more than 100 individuals from many sectors, such as corporate, non-governmental organizations, and academic institutions marked their presence. The program commenced with a comprehensive overview of Nalanda University and the School of Management Studies. The speakers emphasized the importance of inclusiveness, integration, and collaboration in sustainability education. Professor Sapna Narula, Dean, SMS emphasized the exemplary initiatives, and innovative endeavors undertaken by the School of Management Studies, and the integration of traditional classroom instruction with case-based learning, experiential learning, and practical training that equip students with the necessary skills to succeed in the industry. Furthermore, she emphasized that SMS has successfully included sustainability in management education through its unique Sustainability Action Lab and industry interaction. This session was received very warmly by the participants and we had a great discussion on the Integration of Sustainability in Management Education.
