Ans.Reference & Information Service is another value added service of the Nalanda University Library. It satisfies the specific information need of the users. This section promptly makes available books, journal articles, reports or data/statistics, etc. to the users, which are currently not available with our library. Ans.You can get photocopy as per copyright law. Self-automated photocopy machine is available in library.

Ans.The resources which you cannot borrow are new arrival display, current journals, CDs/DVDs and reference materials.

Ans.You can reserve/hold a book/s through the online catalogue. Please note that you can reserve a book/s only if it is checked out.

2.What are the reserve sequence materials?
Ans.Reserve sequence materials are recommended reading suggested by a faculty for particular periods. The same copies are available at circulation desk as reference. Such materials cannot be borrowed.
3.Do I need to come to Library to access the databases?
Ans.Most of the databases subscribed by library are IP enabled so you can access the same from anywhere within the campus or outside the campus using RemoteXS.
