Dr Rameez Ahmad

Dr Rameez Ahmad is an invasion ecologist wearing R developers’ shoes. He is always fond of doing new things in R and sharing it with others. His PhD focused on the ecological impacts of plant invasion through field observations and experiments. Following his doctoral research, Dr. Ahmad shifted to meta-science and adopted evidence synthesis techniques to seek answers to questions of global significance in invasion science. His primary research interests include plant invasion, ecological restoration, biodiversity conservation, research synthesis and meta-analysis, remote sensing, predictive modeling, topic modeling and bibliometrics.
