Academic Programmes
The School of Ecology and Environment Studies currently offers two-year Master’s degree and is in the process to start the Doctoral Programme. As an interdisciplinary School, SEES seeks to combine knowledge from the basic sciences, social sciences and humanities. The School also seeks to bridge the current gap in the study of environmental issues between the Western and the Eastern perspectives. It fosters research into local, regional and global environment issues adopting, pedagogically, a concentric circle approach from life in the campus to life in the biosphere. The School strives to create a strong intellectual engagement in order to create leaders, who will represent an inter-connected Asia, championing ideas based on mutual understanding.
