SAHABHAGITA AT NUCONVOCATION

March 31, 2026 | The spirit of Sahabhagita, shared participation and community engagement, received national recognition during the Convocation, when the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, highlighted Nalanda University’s unique commitment to integrating academic excellence with societal responsibility.
In her address, Hon’ble President appreciated the University’s continuous efforts to connect with local communities through meaningful dialogue and collaboration, noting that true institutional growth must benefit the surrounding society. She particularly lauded the Sahabhagita Samvada initiative as a model for engaging with traditional knowledge systems
and grassroots communities. The President also inaugurated the Sahabhagita Pradarshani, showcasing these impactful initiatives, and interacted with community partners – capturing a powerful moment of collaboration, recognition, and shared vision that defines Nalanda’s inclusive approach to education and development.
