Student Initiatives and Field Activities

ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting Simulation

A Nalanda University student, Ms. Shrabanti Chakraborty, participated in the AFMAM–EAS 2025 at the ASEAN Secretariat, Jakarta (September 15–19, 2025). Engaged in a Disaster Management simulation under the APSC Pillar, she contributed to the Senior Officials’ and ministerial sessions, representing multilateral perspectives on regional cooperation

Resource Mapping Survey in Rajgir

Students from SMS and SEES, guided by Dr. Muneer A. Magry, conducted a resource mapping survey in five Rajgir villages to collect baseline data on agriculture and livelihoods for sustainable rural planning.

Collaborative Research on Arsenic Distribution

Dr. Anand Kumar (SMS) collaborated with LEDO–Columbia University and TERI SAS on a study of arsenic distribution in the Indus basin, aiming to identify safe aquifers and inform sustainable water management strategies.
