Global Summit on Disaster Management-GADRI: Ms. Rakhi Kashyap

Miss Rakhi Kashyap was invited by the Global Alliance of Disaster Research Institutes (GADRI) and Kyoto University for The Fourth Global Summit of Research Institutes for Disaster Risk Reduction (4thGSRIDRR2019) which has held at the Obaku Plaza, DPRI, Kyoto University, Uji Campus, and Kyoto, Japan from 12th to 15th March 2019.
She presented her research paper titled ‘Adaptive Architecture – A Pathway to Resilient Communities’ in the format of a poster which was exhibited at Hybrid Space of Obaku Plaza of Kyoto University, Uji Campus Japan. She actively participated and led group discussions of Social Dimension of Risk, Health, DRM and GADRI Contributions to the 2016 Science & Technology Roadmap towards the Sendai Framework. This opportunity gave her the platform to represent Nalanda University and her “Evidence Based Examples” of good practices in Disaster Risk Reduction at the global platform.
