SEES faculty Sayan Bhattacharya Participates in Doordarshan’s TV Programme on Environment

Dr. Sayan Bhattacharya, Assistant Professor at the University’s School of Ecology and Environment Studies participated as an expert on water pollution and remediation in DD Basundhara Programme, Doordarshan (Prasar Bharti) on March 14, 2016 from 4 pm. to 5 pm.

Dr. Bhattacharya, has done extensive research on arsenic contamination of groundwater in Bengal Delta and on its remediation techniques.

In another development, Dr. Bhattacharya, who is also a noted environmental photojournalist, got his portfolio published in Camerapixo Magazine an international publication on creative photography based in London.Click here to view portfolio on Camerapixo.

Incidentally, Dr. Bhattacharya has also contributed many pictures on the University website, including profile pictures of faculty and pictures in “Beyond Campus”.
