He has also worked with the University of Delhi Innovation Project as Junior Investigator. He wants to work in the field of Archaeology and pursue an academic career.

Aditya Chaturvedi

Aditya has a Bachelor's degree (B.A. Hons.) in History from St. Stephen's College, Delhi University. He was awarded the Prem Nath Bhalla Memorial Prize for good academic records and interest in extra- curricular activities by the Department of History at St. Stephen's College. Aditya was also one of the Rhodes Scholarship (2016) finalists and Commonwealth Scholarship (2016) nominees from India. He wishes to study South Asian Bhakti traditions and explore limits of the modern disciplines to understand them. His interest lies in studying the doctrinal, practical, and performative aspects of these traditions. He practices Hindustani Classical Music and has been trained in Tabla and Vocals. He wants to pursue a career in academics.

Nupur has a Bachelor's in History from Ramjas College, Delhi University. She has a keen interest in women's studies and has worked in various organisations working for women across North and West India. She believes the the study of history and in particular that of the history of women, which had not seen enough work until the advent of feminist approach in 19th century, will help her further in exploring her interest in women's studies. She hopes that at Nalanda she will be able to explore her passion for this field further as she believes that women's studies in South Asia is an area that still needs a lot of work.
