Course Introduction:

Yoga is an ancient science of the art of living. It mainly emphasizes the concept of all-round health, which includes the physical, emotional, social, mental and spiritual aspects of well-being, as envisioned by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Shri Aurabindo. With the ideal Yoga & meditation techniques, we can establish a harmonious balance between body, mind and spirit, thus bringing a fundamental change in the organism, with an improved quality of life, slowing down the ageing process and preventing illnesses.

This course introduces students to history, basic concepts and principles of Yoga philosophy & Yoga therapy. In addition, the students are expected to learn theoretical and practical aspects of yoga practices. Furthermore, they will be acquainted with therapeutic & scientific benefits of Yoga Practices. By looking at numerous health benefits, it is imperative to train young minds in yoga. This will also help students to maintain optimum health.

  • To help students to understand the traditional yoga philosophy, practices for various ailments and its scientific benefits
  • To provide practical training related to different Yoga practices
  • To improve Physical and mental health of the students
  • To learn about healthy lifestyle managing with Yoga & Meditation techniques
  • To train students as Yoga instructors to work under conventional and AYUSH doctors in the hospitals, Yoga Centre, spa & wellness Centre.
