August 5, 2025 | At the ICRIER–IRKFS Dialogue on “Changing Geo-economic Environment”, Nalanda University Vice Chancellor Professor Sachin Chaturvedi reflected on the India–Korea relationship, blending shared Buddhist heritage with modern economic cooperation.
He emphasized the importance of cultural linkages as a foundation for deeper strategic and economic collaboration, highlighting how historical ties continue to shape contemporary regional partnerships and mutual growth.
Welcoming the New Cohort of Students at Nālandā University
August 4, 2025 | Nālandā University warmly welcomed its new cohort of students from over twenty countries through a vibrant Orientation-cum-Induction Programme, marking the beginning of an inspiring academic journey. The event introduced students to Nalanda’s rich heritage, global ethos, and interdisciplinary learning environment.
Addressing the gathering, Vice Chancellor Professor Sachin Chaturvedi shared words of wisdom, saying, “As you begin your journey at Nalanda, you become part of a timeless legacy rooted in global vision.” The day featured interactive sessions, cultural performances, and introductions to the University’s schools and centres. The orientation beautifully highlighted Nālandā’s living spirit, where ancient wisdom meets contemporary inquiry, shaping global citizens committed to knowledge, sustainability and intercultural understanding.
