A high-level Roundtable on “Agenda and Approach for Nalanda University” brought together eminent scholars, thought leaders, and policymakers to deliberate on the university’s evolving vision as a global centre of learning. The discussion, led by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sachin Chaturvedi, focused on strengthening Nalanda’s academic roadmap through innovation, sustainability, multilingual scholarship, and civilisational dialogue.
Distinguished participants, including Professor Amrita Narlikar and Professor Himanshu Rai, lauded the university’s clarity of purpose and commitment to integrating ancient wisdom with modern research. They emphasised the importance of digital heritage initiatives and sustainable development as part of Nalanda’s future strategy. The dialogue reaffirmed that the revival of Nalanda is not merely an academic pursuit but a shared civilisational responsibility.
