Brief Biography
I have joined Nālandā University, Rajgir on 25th February , 2026 as associate Professor . Before joining Nalanda University , I taught physics at Annada College, Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribagh, for more than two decades and I also served as adjunct faculty at the Poornaprajna Institute of Scientific Research (PPISR), Bengaluru. My research interests lie in the foundations of quantum mechanics and the overlapping areas of physics and philosophy. Over the last two decades, I have played a key role in establishing dialogue between science and Buddhist philosophy, which led to the creation of the first-ever Transdisciplinary platform in India for systematic research in the history and philosophy of science. I am the founder of the Nalanda Dialogue mission, which is devoted to exploring effective modes of modern engagement with the traditional Indian knowledge store. I serve as the editorial board member of the international journal Quanta and the Nalanda Dialogue Series. I have authored dozens of articles on the foundations of quantum mechanics as well as on the history and philosophy of science in peer-reviewed journals. In addition, I have written two books in Bengali on the history of Indian science and philosophy.
