Shiju Mazhuvanchery previously worked as Head of the Department and Professor at Christ Academy Institute of Law, Bengaluru. He has also served as Associate Professor and Head of the Centre for Postgraduate Legal Studies and he has also worked as Fellow & Adjunct Faculty at TERI School of Advanced Studies, New Delhi, where he taught environmental law & policy and competition law. He has worked on a number of projects in the field of environment and natural resources management and has been teaching subjects like Environmental Law and Policy, Climate Law and Policy, Biotechnology Regulation and Management, and Infrastructure Reforms, Constitutional Law, Competition Law, Labour Laws, Policies and Law for the last more than ten years.
Prof. Shiju has also worked with the National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS), Kolkata. Shiju has delivered guest lectures at many prominent institutions in India including the National Judicial Academy, Foreign Service Institute, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Indian Law Institute and Indian Society of International Law. He has published widely on Environmental Law and Policy and Competition He is a regular contributor to the Oxford Yearbook of International Environmental Law.
