
Dr Amit Kumar
Dr. Amit Kumar’s areas of research interest include Indian Ocean geopolitics, South Asian politics, connectivity, India and neighbourhood, Indian foreign policy and Asian Security. Previously, he was a Fellow at the Prime Ministers Museum and Library (PMML), New Delhi, a Research Fellow at the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA), an Associate Fellow at the National Maritime Foundation (NMF) and the Observer Research Foundation (ORF), New Delhi. He has also worked with the Indian Pugwash Society, New Delhi. Dr. Kumar received his PhD and MPhil in International Relations from the South Asian Studies Division, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. He is actively associated with the Centre for Studies in International Relations (CSIR), and academically engaged with Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA).
