• Was part of track-two dialogues on International Security issues with the members of Committee on International Security and Arms Control (CISAC) of National Academy of Sciences, Washington D.C. It led to building positive mutual perceptions in Indo-US relations
• Led a delegation to the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace (CEIP), Moscow for a deliberation on Global Security issues in a multilateral setting having participants from the US, Russia, China and India
• Worked for a Committee on Research and Development in India’s National Security constituted by National Technical Research Organisation (NTRO), GOI
• Did comprehensive analysis on the domestic debates in the United States on Indo-US Civil Nuclear Cooperation Agreement. It was used by GOI for a comprehensive understanding and while negotiating with the United States
