Invited talk On Environmental Crime

Prof. Sarnam Singh, was invited to deliver a lead talk during International Seminar on “Towards a Sustainable Environment: Sociological Configurations of Environmental Crime. It was jointly organized by Department of Sociology Stella Maris College Chennai and Department of Criminology University of Madras Chennai during 7th – 8th February 2019. He delivered the talk on “An Overview on Environmental Crimes and Social Conflicts from Remote Sensing Perspective”. It was very well received by the national and international delegates. He has been requested to write a chapter for their book on Role of Earth Observations technology for Environmental Crime Monitoring.
