Nalanda University Participates in Event on Education to promote Indian Institutions in Indonesia

Vice Chancellor, Dr. Gopa Sabharwal and Manager Admissions, Mr. Saurabh Choudhary participated in Incredible India Education Fair 2016 (IIEF 2016) held in Jakarta, Indonesia from March 3 to 8, 2016. The event was endorsed and supported by Embassy of India in Jakarta and Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Indonesia.

The Vice Chancellor addressed the gathering during the event and talked about the values of Nalanda University (NU) that make it unique.

The team met many education leaders from Indonesia and the Vice Chancellor also held talks with various leaders and administrators on building closer academic ties.

During her visit to Indonesia, the Vice Chancellor also called on  Indonesia’s former Foreign Minister Mr. Hassan Wirajuda, who is also a member of NU’s International Advisory Panel. Dr. Sabharwal also met Professor Hidetoshi Nishimura, the President of Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) to discuss possibilities of collaboration with the University.
