Sanjivani has done her graduation in English language and literature from St.Xavier's College, Patna. Besides being the student editor of her college magazine, she has also been an active member of the literary society and has participated in various debate and speech competitions. At the completion of her undergraduate studies, she was awarded by her college for an outstanding academic record. She has been trained in Kathak and enjoys painting in her free time.

Shubham has a Bachelor's in Technology (Computer Science & Engineering) from Kurukshetra University. He was received various scholarships during school and college and also has a Diploma in Bhagavad Gita from Department of Philosophy, Kurukshetra University. He has worked as Project Associate with Central Institute of Educational Technology, NCERT, New Delhi. He was also associated with the Project Development and Management of National Repository of Open Educational Resources (NROER). He has presented technical, spiritual and philosophical research papers in various International Conferences in India and abroad. He is interested in Performing Arts and has participated in various Creative Arts Events at National and State level. He is also a trained Kathak dancer.

He also studied in the Université de Versailles à Saint Quentin en Yvelynes, France, with focus in Philosophy and European History. He has experience of academic research in Urban Anthropology and History of the Present Time. His main interests now are in Tibetan Buddhism, with focus in Buddhist Philosophy and studies of meditative states of mind. His long term vision is to establish himself as a sensitized and humanistic scholar

He was a member of Bengali Literary Society during college. He loves to write poems in Bengali some of which have been published in the Bengali magazine Shuktara. He is also interested in music and painting. He is interested in Archaeology and Gender Studies and wants to pursue a career in research in Buddhist Studies.

He is interested in exploring the original teachings of a variety of religions and using the inherent philosophy to apply in modern-day social problem solving.

Rashmi Shetty

Mangalore, Karnataka, India

Rashmi has a triple major Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Journalism and English. She was a Young India Fellow (one-year PG Diploma programme in Liberal Studies) at Ashoka University. Rashmi has worked extensively in the areas of education, psychology and conflict resolution. During her time at YIF, she developed, with three other colleagues, a socio-emotional learning module for middle school, which was awarded the best project. She is also formally trained in Basic Counselling and Transactional Analysis, as well as public speaking. Fascinated by the colors of human behavior, Social Psychology is one of her favorite fields of knowledge. Having worked closely with riot-affected communities developed in her a vision to find scientific answers to the questions around communal peace and violence. An intersection of psychology and religion is where Rashmi’s academic fervor lies, and that is what brought her to Nalanda.
