A Graduation is a critical event in a student’s life – one which serves as a stepping stone to the journey ahead.
Register for degree ceremony
Invitations to the graduation ceremony are extended to all the final year students with regard to a successful completion of their course at NU. Having received an invitation, one can register for the ceremony.
Registration form can be downloaded from the University website. A copy of the required documents needs to be attached along with the filled out Form and should be sent to the email id: [email protected]
All the information regarding the convocation ceremony would be sent to the given official (NU) email id the students.
On absentia for convocation, the student needs to pay Rs — — extra, where the degree certificate would be sent through registered post to the said address. In case your unavailability, kindly informs the authorized person to receive on your behalf.

Security deposit of the full academic outfit (gown, hood, and hat) would be Rs.1000 (refundable). The outfit needs to be returned to the Student Affairs Office after the ceremony.
You are required to confirm the number of persons attending the convocation ceremony in the Application Form. Due to the limited availability of space, a maximum of passes for two guests may be issued to each student. Children below 5 years will not be permitted to attend the ceremony. Guest passes may be collected from the Student Affairs Office one day before the day of convocation.
Accommodation and Transportation
Accommodation and Transportation for the students and their guests must be arranged on their own.

AFTER YOU GRADUATE- Alumni Group
After receiving their respective degrees and celebrations, all the students are cordially invited to be a part of the NU Alumni Group. The vision of the alumni body is to build a strong network of alumni that will stay connected to the University and the incoming batches, and benefit in the process.
Degree certificate is issued only once to the student. University will issue a duplicate certificate only if the original has been misplaced.
After verifying the records and the valid legal proof, the claim of the student will be acknowledged and a duplicate copy will be issued.
The requisition letter and application form, along with a fees of Rs. 1,000 may be submitted to the Finance department through the Academic Office.

Candidates are requested to contact Academics Team for the issue of all relevant certificates and Mark Sheets.
Requisition Form along with the required documents can be submitted to the Academics Department.
You would receive all the official transcripts through postal services.

After the completion of the course at Nalanda, all students are eligible to get a Migration Certificate. To request a Migration certificate, you are required to download the form (link mentioned below) and submit a hard copy to the Office of Student Affairs along with the enclosures mentioned in the form.
In case a student discontinues the programme mid-way, the University will not issue a migration certificate. However, the migration certificate previously submitted by the student at the time of his/her admission will be returned (subject to clearance of all dues).
The certificate will be sent through registered post within 30 days from the date of receiving the completed form.
Students who require bona fide certificate should download the form and the filled in copy must be submitted to the Student Affairs Office. Bona fide can be issued for the following purposes:
- Opening a bank account
- Sim Card activation
- Applying for a Passport
- Any other purpose on request
You can collect the Bonafide Certificate one day after submitting the requisition form at the same office.
No Dues Certificate
Students passing out from this University need to clear all their dues and obtain a clearance from the departments mentioned in the Form. The security deposit can be refunded only when all the dues are cleared.
